Resting Metabolic Rate Testing and Health Coaching
In less than an hour you can gain valuable information
to help you achieve your weight loss goals! Learn how your metabolic rate impacts your weight loss efforts. Sensible physical activity, not exhausting workouts!
Your Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) is the amount of calories your body burns if you do nothing but sit. Once your RMR is calibrated, we can calculate how many calories you need to reduce – or burn to lose weight. This information will be provided to you in a simple to read results page. A Health Educator will assist you in determining the best way to reach your weight loss goals.
Fee: $50 / members, $75 / nonmembers
$40 / current Healthy Ways participants

Take a Class
Managing Your Weight
This 90 minute one-session class emphasizes not only the principles of weight management but moves participants toward a greater comfort level with food. You will learn how to minimize non-hunger eating, cravings, and self-defeating beliefs about food and weight. This class is offered at no additional cost. Those wanting further support can sign up for Mindful Eating, a monthly support group in which they work on behavior changes and problem solving. The support group is also offered at no additional cost.

Healthy Ways: Healthy Lifestyle and Weight Management Program
This 8-week program provides comprehensive weight management techniques: Information and discussion about affecting balanced, low fat eating, exercise, dining out, shopping, cooking and how to internalize these lifestyle changes.

Solution for Weight Management
This 12-week program is designed to turn off the drive to overeat as a response to stress. It offers developmental skills training (dvt) as a tool for you to nurture and set limits from within. These skills, blended into daily life over time, rewires the feeling brain--- the center of emotions, pleasure drives and stress --- to allow freedom from using overeating (or other self defeating behaviors) as a response to managing an out of control life.

Medical Weight Management Program
This 82 week program (20 months) is for people wanting to lose a minimum of 40 pounds and keep it off. By employing a meal replacement diet for a portion of the time, medical monitoring, weekly group sessions and more, the goal is to achieve life-long changes resulting in improved health. While using the meal replacement as a tool, this program teaches evidenced-based behavior change techniques that are associated with long-term results. This program requires a substantial financial and time commitment. We encourage you to sign up for a free orientation to hear an explanation of the program from the medical director, try the product and ask questions of past or present participants of the program.
